FAQ for parents
Which instrument should I learn to play? The choice is
yours. All musical instruments have an important function in the band and
require the same amount of practice time to learn. However, due to sectional
balancing and your own physical characteristics, we recommend asking the advice
of your music teacher as he or she is best qualified and experienced to help
with this process.
When should I reserve my instrument? As soon as possible.
Calling early reserves the instrument and accessory package of your choice.
How do I reserve my instrument? Reserving your instrument
is fast and easy. Simply call, fax, or email our office and a friendly member
of our staff will take the information, answer questions and confirm your
reservation.
When do I obtain my instrument? As part of the reservation
process,
simply tell us what date you would like to have the instrument ready for pickup
or delivery and well do the rest.
What if my instrument needs to be fixed? We employ
on-site, certified factory trained technicians with the skills to repair all
school band instruments. Should your instrument need repair service, please contact us and we

replacing your instrument.

Musical instruments have a substantial value, and as in any rental transaction,
a reasonable assurance that the rented item will be returned in good condition
is necessary. We accept Visa or MasterCard.

FAQ for parents
How can I help with my child's musical studies? Behind
every successful student there is a supportive parent. Your praise,
encouragement, and enthusiasm will help promote your childs success.
Having a good quality instrument and a place at home to practice free of
distraction is very important. Try to attend all the performances your child is
involved in and if you have a free moment, offer to help the school band
boosters association.
Am I responsible for rental instrument damage? Yes. We
accept normal wear & tear but not damage.
Why do I need a music stand, reeds or accessories? Music
stands
assist with proper breathing and correct body posture. Reeds are necessary to
make certain instruments play and accessories are needed for cleaning or to
assist as learning tools.
Do I have to purchase a mouthpiece? No. Musicare rental
units include a cleaned and sanitized mouthpiece.
If I decide to buy a new instrument, will any of my rental
payment apply to the new instrument purchase? Yes. Four months of paid
up rental will be applied to any new instrument purchase. As most students
begin renting in September, our rental rebate, when applied at Christmas time,
makes for a most appreciated gift.
If I buy a new instrument after four months, will I receive the
rental rebate as well as a discount? Yes. All new instruments are sold
at discount prices.

preparing their young music student for new classes. |
